Broadstone Station
Broadstone Station in Dublin 7 is the headquarters of Bus Éireann. This beautiful building was designed by John Skipton Mulvaney and is built of granite in a neo-Egyptian style. The station was opened by the Midland Great Western Company in 1847 and as you can see from my photographs the building was completed in 1850. It closed to public traffic in 1937. Broadstone station was one of Dublin's six original rail termini.
